Pool Deck Resurfacing in Laguna Beach, CA | Sundek Authorized

Laguna Beach is a design-conscious market, and pool decks here are rarely an afterthought — they’re part of a broader outdoor living design that often includes custom hardscape, view-oriented seating areas, and architecture-specific color palettes. We spend more time on color and texture consultation for Laguna Beach projects than in most other cities we serve, matching the resurfaced deck to existing stone, tile, or stucco rather than defaulting to a standard finish. Many properties also sit on canyon or hillside lots with limited equipment access, which our crews are experienced working around without disrupting the surrounding landscaping. We also work closely with homeowners in HOA and design-conscious communities throughout Laguna Beach who need finish colors approved or documented before work begins, and we can provide samples and specs to support that process.

• Knockdown Texture — a spray-applied, stucco-like finish that pairs naturally with Laguna’s Mediterranean and coastal-contemporary architecture, with slip resistance and cooler underfoot comfort built in.
• Cool Decking — engineered to reduce surface temperature in direct sun, well suited to west-facing view decks that see extended afternoon exposure.
• Exposed Aggregate — a higher-end, natural-stone-look finish that’s popular on Laguna Beach properties looking to complement existing landscape stonework.
• Acrylic Overlay — a lighter refresh option for color and texture updates that don’t require a full resurfacing system.
